Film: WHERE DO WE GO NOW? 2011, Fra/Leb/Egypt/Italy, Cert 12A.
"Where Do We Go Now?" was an exceptional piece of entertainment, filled with great comic moments, and very distinctive musical numbers. Whilst the pacing is not necessary perfect, it is an engaging drama which looks at the conflicts of politics and religion without feeling heavily lectured.
Worth a look for anyone that wants the crowd-pleasing power of The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel, but deals with a much heavy subject matter then those populist films- 50/50, Juno, and Another Year are a few prime examples of such comedy drama that do this really well.
This was originally intended as blog designed so that Andy Norton, a postgraduate in Creative Digital Media, could discuss his influences whilst working on a comic for his Creative Portfolio Development module on that master’s degree. Now, the blog is intended to share articles relevant to his interests, as well as his artwork (past and present), as an experience graphic designer, with a background in illustration and animation.

Maurice Williamson: 'Rainbow across my electorate'
This is probably the best speech from a politician I have heard in recent years.

Improviso Ensaiado: Os 8 de... Timothy Reckart
Improviso Ensaiado: Os 8 de... Timothy Reckart:
As a fan of Reckhart's oustanding film, Head Over Heels, I find his top 10 films very personal, and yet very interesting to read- even when Google translates the text into English from its original Portuguese language. Worth a read just to get an inside into this director's passion for a broad range of films.

Margaret Thatcher and Hollywood: How Entertainment Portrayed Prime Minister
Margaret Thatcher and Hollywood: How Entertainment Portrayed Prime Minister
Whether you agree or disagree with Thatcher's government during an extraordinary period in modern history, there has been plenty of media that have represented Thatcher throughout the years. Although some other honourable mentions, not featured in this article, include Octopussy, which featured 'Thatcher' receiving a phone call from Roger Moore's James Bond; The Comic Strip Presents The Hunt for Tony Blair had Jennifer Saunders giving her a Sunset-Boulevard make-over for this political noir spoof ; and the TV Movie 'Margaret Thatcher: The Long Walk to Finchley' represented Thatcher, in a light-hearted manner from Andrea Riseborough's performance, chronicling her rise as a MP.
