Loomis Study- More Expressions on that Character

I've think I have sorted out that problem that I had with yesterday's study with that expression and I feel pretty confident with the other expression done today- the one on the left.

Loomis Study- More Expressions

I've just realised that I'm currently doing some studies on the same head, rather then a different. So yesterday's drawing is meant to be the same head as these drawings. I think I am squashing the forehead too much, in contrast to the actual heads in the book. So I might revisit the head on the right to sort that out.

Post a Drawing Every Day- 40- Expression Studies

I am now at the part of the book, in which Loomis goes into theories on applying expressions to our faces. So this was my attempt of a smile, using Loomis' theory. This might take a while for this to sink in.
