Animation Magazine – Bruno Bozzetto Serves Up New Animated Short

Bruno Bozzetto (Mister Rossi, Help)  is one of the few living animators that deserves the status of a screen cartoonist because of his impeccable ability to make his brand of comedic cartooning work so well on the big, or small, screen. And Raspsodeus certainly does this by the bucket-load, whilst making a very powerful statement about war throughout the ages along the way too. It may also be one of the few Western shorts to use Liszt's iconic classical piece without using a piano as the musical gag - see The Cat Concerto and Rhapsody Rabbit as classic examples of this comedy convention.
