A continuation of yesterday's Inktober work, as I try and resume where I left off with these illustrations for this client, hence the censored faces. After doing this initial sketch and inked illustration, I received feedback from the previous pieces I've done, and I now have to revisit them. So I know from the get-go that I will be revisiting this piece once coloured to amend some of the initial character design for that character. So stay tuned for a few more amended pieces during the next few days.
This was originally intended as blog designed so that Andy Norton, a postgraduate in Creative Digital Media, could discuss his influences whilst working on a comic for his Creative Portfolio Development module on that master’s degree. Now, the blog is intended to share articles relevant to his interests, as well as his artwork (past and present), as an experience graphic designer, with a background in illustration and animation.

Inktober- Day 2- Sketch and Illustration

Post a Drawing Every Day- Day 21- ''IF I WERE A LABYRINTH GOBLIN, THIS IS WHAT I WOULD LOOK LIKE'' Art Jam Entry
Today was doing some work towards this art jam.

Coloured Concept Sketch |
I might have deviated from what a goblin looks like... but a big helpful one stuck at a back of a counter sounds about right.

Initial Sketches |
I don't want to bang on about the process behind this too much, but I used a spare page in my sketch book to work out a few problems I encountered whilst doing this. These include sketches into what the girl's shoes should looked like, and how her fingers were going to look like from the back in that pose.
