This is an entertaining, and interesting, article from animation veteran, Tim Sito, about the real history about the medium of computer animation. So instead of everyone saying that the medium all began with Pixar needs to start looking at the iconic work done on Vertigo, and all the other early sources of using computers to create animated effects, before making such a populist, and wrong, assumption about this technical medium.
