Inktober- Day 20- Tico and Rigadon (Around the Word of Willy Fog)

I got inspired from Manue Illustrations' Inktober sketch of a couple from Around the World of Willy Fog, so I did ANOTHER couple from that show, Rigadon and Tico. I emulated what the hell was going on in that show's intro. I think I made Tico the stuff of nightmares with those staring eyes, but it was bloody fun trying to draw these two characters.

Post a Drawing Every Day- Day 17- Life Drawings at Oxford Rail Station

Did several life drawings today, whilst waiting for my train at Oxford- I needed to sort out some visas for a holiday to China in a few weeks time in Farringdon.
The first one wasnt successful, probably because I don't have much time to draw a stationery train at a station- if I did, that would probably be a bit of problem. The second drawing was my most successful, being able to focus on something like a bin, to a rendered quality I achieved on a more detailed piece I did a few days back.I had another train stop at the station, only I had a different car to quickly; so I sketched out the word 'David' on the engine of that train. I went along with this text theme whilst drawing some signs for a good few minutes, before I caught my train.
I did take some photographs whilst I was in Farringdon... but I'll save that for another post.

Post A Drawing Every Day- Day 9- Quick Life Sketches

Quick Life Drawing
I have been trying to do the odd bit of life drawing, now and again... but it usually occurs when waiting for a bus or, in this case, a train. Although this took me about 30 seconds, I thought it was successful, because you can work out that there are two figures sitting on a bench- well, you should be able to.
Quick Life Sketch of Train
This what came into view of my previous subject. I'm not sure about this one, as, despite some significant detail on the carriage, I felt that it lost the lively quality I should be getting when drawing something in real life. But that's me.
